CC3 Erase Commande Not Working
I am trying to erase some entities using the ERASE command, but when I click the erase button, I do not get a pick box. My pointer remains the same and I am unable to select entities to erase. This is also happening with any command that I would need to select an entity (move, scale, edit properties, etc.).
There must be something simple I am missing, but I have been all through the help and the users guide. Plenty of information on how to erase things, but they all entail getting that pick box to show up.
What am I doing wrong?

Type selbyd on the command line and hit return to reset it to select by dialogue.
Alternately, go to the Tools>Options menu and click the Select method. Click on "Dialogue or Pop-up"
Is there something I did to make that happen? I just don't want to mess it (or something else) up again.
just knew enough to know haw cool CC3 is, and i actually thoughtn it was my computer that f... up. but no a simple "selbyd"command, and evrything was alright.
thank you so much, (if it hadn't been this easy to find a selution, well I might have given it all upp)
