How to Add to a Landmass?

When a draw a landmass, I usually have it outlined. Now, what if I want to add something to that land? If I draw more landmass I end up with the outline of the original land still being there. So, how do I stop that?

Are you using the original drawing tool to edit the landmass?

And can you please show us a screen shot so that we can see what you mean?

That solved my problem. I was just drawing over it. I saw another video where it look like the person use the trace command T to add to the landmass. If I hit E, to edit, then I can add it to. Previously, I had only seen E used to remove part of the land.

Yes, you can add or remove land using the original drawing tool in edit mode. You can also do the same thing to most of the terrain fills by using the edit mode of whichever drawing tool you used to create them.
