No outline or bounding box for bitmaps?

When using the move, scale, and rotate tools, I no longer see the outline of the shape or even a bounding box. All I get is the line pinned to the source location showing where I am moving the item to. I do see it for e.g. a bulkhead, but bitmap symbols seems to be lacking everything but the from-to line. Any ideas how to get that working again?

Hit Tab (while moving something). That changes how cursor previews are rendered.
