Maybe the colors of the rivers should be a little lighter to give a better contrast with the strong green of the territory?

the dark blue camouflages itself with the strong green of the territory.

perhaps a slightly lighter color to detail them better, a matter of testing with the colors in the palette.

More darker would certainly make it even harder to read them on the map.

Have you tried using Mike Schley's "Rich" rug and changing its X and Y proportions to make it more longitudinal?

It's a relatively small surface to really notice the textured effect. Maybe if you print the map in a large size, it will be noticeable.

I will try to make a Glacier cave.

This huge vertical wall reminds me of the majestic Perito Moreno glacier.

As for the cave, I deliberately made it relatively discreet. I tried to replicate as closely as possible the original external environment described on the Dungeon map that exists there.
