Do you mean make the farms smaller, or bigger?

Here is the map at present. I am happy to take on board your suggestion. I guess the paddocks are almost a mile wide at present!

Some progress

I have laid down a draft of the buildings - 66 in all, enough to support a population of over 300, I think. This is still all very much in the draft stage, so comments welcome. And the buildings will no doubt be changed into different styles depending on the nature of the building.

The finished map, ready for submission to Remy when he returns.

I have changed my mind about this map completely, and chosen the Mythic maps style instead. I will use Myrklund on a more jungle type area, which this is not supposed to be.

I used hill symbols from Sarah Wroot style, to make up for the fact there were no hill symbols in this style.

I think this is ready for Remy.

Most home sapiens can't even spell corictly

I have taken this bit of Doriant which would otherwise be overlooked in the larger scheme of things. I am using a style I have not used before, from the 2016 annual - Realms of Legend.

Here is my latest addition to the region of Hardin, my personal project. I am hoping to complete all the land regional maps in the next 6 weeks!

You may recognize Spirova Island as Spiros Island of Atlas origin. I have taken this to include in the map, and turned it into a three Island 'nation' led by a rather tyrannical theocracy. (any resemblance to a future nation on earth is totally coincidental - honest).

Next map is a more 'Ukrainian' based culture or the Cossack times.

I second Ricko's comment about caves and mine entrances as stand-alones. Also waterfalls that are stand-alones, not associated with cliffs etc, so they can be places anywhere - would need 4 symbols for 4 different angles, i guess.

And Sue, you have my trust - no need to show the mountains until you are ready. One of the things I did appreciate with Spectrum was that you had green mountains , ie, those with vegetation - like so many of lower mountains are around the world (and especially in Australia, where to eucalypt oil of the gum trees gives the mountains a 'blue' look from a distance - which is why we have the Blue Mountains just west of Sydney
