  • Gurgen's Rock - Mining outpost

@Royal Scribe I had completely forgotten to add the Wall Shadow effect, thanks for the reminder. I've been trying to get rock face/cliff face type features in various maps for about a year now. I tried a lot of things using the various rock drawing tools in several CC3+ dungeon and city styles but it wasn't getting there. PBE Games has a numner of different textures, mostly rock types, that can change the look a lot. I have not moved beyond figuring out the texture scaling and picking the base texture. The lower map is a different texture pack.

  • Encounter map - Where does that cave entrance go?

Still playing with textures. I keep telling myself I won't add water to my next map, and then I do. SS2, Forest Trail and Creepy Crypts.

    Enjoy

  • A cave entrance with Water

The party requested an underwater adventure in the beyond th ecave mouth so I added a few locations for encounters

I am keeping the effects settings the same but some of them respond diferently depending on whether I use a horizontal or vertical layout. Especially Displace. Still learning.

  • A cave entrance with Water

I think LoopySue is a genius. The varous symbols and styles that she has created have enable so many possibilities. SS2 + Creepy Crypts. The party is in a rowboat leaving a cave complex and this is the exit. What coul possibly go wrong?

  • Another little battle map

Updated the image with some shadowing and highlighting of contours to give the stone depth. A texture overblend using a third party textured fill was used. I also set the Global sun direction in Wall Shadow Directional Effect so that most of the tree shadows fall on the "rock faces".
