  • Community Atlas: The Vale, Panaur

Looks fine now. The font is still being replaced (By Times New Roman it looks like) but the difference between that and Calisto MT are miniscule anyway, so it doesn't really matter IMHO.

  • CA style development - "Darklands City" (issues for September and December 2021)

If you want to add lots of stuff to a post without making it messy at first glance, a spoiler tag is a great way of doing things:

    Quenten's list:

    Statues, with separate pedestals

    Fountains

    Gallows

    Prison

    Blacksmith

    Inn, small and large

Barracks - perhaps 2-3 parts, so different combos can be made

Quarantine station, with lots of guards warding off spiky looking round aliens

Theatre/opera house (so Phantom of the Opera, a truly dark fantasy musical can be performed, especially given the dark villain Lloyd Webber himself)

Stadium / colisseum complete with lions and Christians

Soccer field, given it is a dark fantasy city, and a soccer match crowd must be anyone's nightmare

    Courthouse

    Market stalls with variable colours

Uncollected garbage - when I was in Athens 18 years ago (my first time), they had a garbage strike lasting 3 weeks - OMG!!)

Various additions to houses eg awnings, gables, chimneys, extensions.

Indian restaurants (with snake charmers and naked gurus)

MacDonalds (of course - a definite dark fantasy horror)

  • Artifact on Wall Intersection

It's caused by an extra node in there. Use :CC2DELNODE: to remove it. It can be a bit tricky to target properly, but if you zoom a bit out and place your pick cursor where I have indicated in the image, you should get it (I zoom out, because that makes the pick cursor larger compared to the entity, making it easier to get inside the aperture, it is a nice trick, because zooming out is often counterintuitive in these situations.) If you don't get it on the first try, just try a couple of times.

  • Guide: Social Logins [Google]

The forum allow you to log in using social media credentials from Google. To do this, simply click the relevant icon next to the Log In/Sign Up buttons, or click the Log In button, and pick the desired service there. The first time you do this, you will get a page from the social platform asking you if you want to grant forum.profantasy.com permission to see your basic details and email address. This is required for the social login to work, and if you don't want this, you can't use social logins, and just need to create an account on the forum normally.

Note that social logins are completely optional, and are there to just as a convenience for those not wanting to remember yet another account, but for those who prefer, you can still create and use a normal account on the forum not connected to social media.

If you are using an ad-blocker or other privacy extension that blocks social media tracking, it may also end up blocking this functionality. If so, you may need to turn of these features for the forum (we don't run ads here, nor do we share your data with social media sites unless you explicitly click one of the share buttons, so these extensions really doesn't do anything for you here anyway), or simply just use a standard forum account instead.

If you don't have an account with the forum

If you try to login with social media without having an existing account on the forum, one will be made for you, and depending on the social media platform you logged in with, you may be asked to fill in one or two additional details at this point to complete the account. This is only done the first time, after that, you have your forum account, and this is the account you will be logged into when using the social media login. You don't need to worry about the fact that this account exists, just keep logging in with your social media account, and the forum itself will take care of this behind the scenes.

If you already have an account with the forum

If you try to login with social media when you already have an existing forum account, the social media login will be linked to that account, as long as the email addresses are the same. If they are not the same, it will be treated as a new account as above.

When linking the accounts, you will be asked for your forum password the first time you log in with your social media account. This is to confirm ownership of that forum account. This will only happen the first time you log in with each social platform to established the link, for subsequent logins you don't have to provide the forum password each time.

Note that logging in with a social media account WILL set your forum username to the name on that social account. So unless your forum username happens to be the name on your social account (usually your real name) already, it will be changed to this. You can change it back from your profile page if you like, but the change will happen every time you log in with the social media account. If you don't want this to happen, simply keep using a standard forum account instead of social media logins.
