I was rather inspired by the map that was shown on the other thread about Lankhmar, so decided i would give it a go, but doing 1 floor only, and using Watabou cities revised. I haven't got the fills for the roof colours right yet, but at least I am getting the buildings done. I have added two different market-place geomorphs here, for the section done.

i will definitely be a LOT slower than the other version being mapped, but I am having fun, and it fits my vision of the map.

Perfect ridges - I really love that Sue. And it allows for different terrain types to be shown as you have got here. So, grassy, rocky, volcanic terrain will also show through. I really love that.

And sure, if you draw 8 sided snowflakes, then your drawn snowflakes have 8 sides - someone should tell the real snowflakes to get with it and advance to 8 pointed flakes - lazy things.

I am not quite sure what you actually want. Here is a crater from the Natural subfolder of the symbols.

Click on Edit>Reshape>Mirror, then select what you want, then draw a line of the axis you want it flipped around. Not sure whether you need a mouse for that though, Helen
