Harleigh's Barrow - a lighted Creepy Crypt
Wanted to try out the "Creepy Crypts"-Style - and had seen something with rats recently.
The lighting gave me a bit of a headache. Had to use a light-blocking hidden sheet to prevent the cave walls from being illuminated.
Also tried using a single, weak light source as general outside lighting, which prevented me from cropping the map.
If anyone has tips on how to better handle these issues, I'd be glad to hear them
Here's a version without grid, which makes the rats more visible, too.
Larger versions are in my gallery.
Happy Halloween. 🙂

WIP - A Darklands River City
@NZgunner Completely agree. No climbing opportunity for would-be besiegers next to the walls.
Added two windmills for the grain and a place for merchants to park their carts and let their horses/ oxen get some rest.
Here's the final version:
And a detail shot of the updated market and "merchant parking" area
Update: Large version in the gallery, as usual.
Update 2: The area east of the market was still a little unfinished, so I added a few details

WIP - A Darklands River City
Moving ahead - thanks again for solving my merge-layer issues, @Loopysue
Might still change the name, though this one's starting to grow on me.
The Northern city is pretty much complete now.
Will fill up the rest of the South - planning a larger stable / cart storage area for travelling merchants.
Then it's just final markings and finishing touches.

Parallel Lines close to Darklands City Roof Edges
Many thanks, Sue. My houses are now correctly slated again. :)
I was able to reproduce how CC3 switched to the "merge" layer:
I had placed the stairs on the left side just before the "lined" buildings.
The stairs are from Dungeons of Schley.
Whenever I switch to a different "program" from City Designer 3 (Dungeons of Schley in this case), and then click on a symbol category icon, the layer changes to "merge".
Maybe this happens when it wants to select a layer that's not present in the current map. It switches to "Vegetation" when is select the "tree" icon from an overland style, for example.
Once I select an item category, that has a layer present on the current map, the layer seems to switch to it. I can - sometimes - switch it back to "Building", by clicking on a precreated house icon.

WIP - A Darklands River City
Wanted to do a Darklands City map for quite a while, but for some reasons I've always been struggling with the style. Now It looks like it finally clicked.
Borrowed crates and fountains from City Streets and boats from Fantasy Town.
Will post the larger version as soon as it's complete.
Update: Detail shot of the relatively complete southeastern part of the city:
