A small encounter location. 2022 Forest Trails annual with the new Hedge row symbols.

I needed a city location for my players to meet a gnome who belongs to an organization that "acquires" unique and valuable "stuff". Might add a small kitchen in the lower left corner later but for now it's just a place to meet, drink and arrange contracts.

Playing with info in the DD3 Battlemap tutorials that Shessar published (Cliffs, Streams & Contours) trying to get an embankment next to the stream. My thanks to LoopySue and Simon R. for lots of useful feedback.

I really like the latest materials that we are receiving through the Annuals this year. My players appreciate the variety and options I can incorporate into maps. The maps also to drop into VTT's relatively easily. This one is call Dead Tree Fork, although Otter Hollow was a close second.

Constructive criticism is always appreciated

Updated the image with some shadowing and highlighting of contours to give the stone depth. A texture overblend using a third party textured fill was used. I also set the Global sun direction in Wall Shadow Directional Effect so that most of the tree shadows fall on the "rock faces".

The party has seen most of this, and should wrap it up monday night. Hopefully they won't log in to the forum and see the rooms they missed ;-) Including the two secret temple levels. Some of the textures are from PBE Games.

I had some issues integrating the stone stairs from Creepy crypts on the library level. I tried a few different transitions but nothing really gave me what I wanted. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I took some time off from this map to consider the feedback and start over. Version 2 WIP gets closer to the image in my brain. Still need to figure out what to do about tree rings but making some headway at least.

I threw this together for Monday night's session. Dark Lands City and SS2. The rock face is a third party texture applied using the Texture Overblend Effect. Enjoy.

The largest city I have tried to create. Should serve as a good base for a few campaigns. SS5 Cities of Schley with a hint of Darklands City. Looking at how to add log booms to the wide bay across from Northbridge. Everything I try is just a cluttered mess.
