As I remember it was teetering on the edge of the absolute 500MB limit per issue (preferably they are usually much smaller than that). So I was looking for ways to reduce the size.

In part 2 there are 2 versions of the stone - light and dark. So by losing one you will eventually gain two instead.

The two new textures will be CA192A, so that slot is obsolete.

Yes, that's because they can go on any of the three. If you pick one of the three grass sheets before you pick the grass drawing tool it will go on that one. The idea was to reduce the number of sheets from 5 to 3, given that there are an awful lot of sheets in the style - so far. There are even more in part 2.

However, I can't say if Ralf intends to change that or not.

If you get a newly created "grass" sheet you can solve the problem the same way Ralf did - move it down to be with the rest of the grass sheets and copy the same effects across.

I haven't done the reseating. I reinstalled Windows instead. That hasn't cured it - 8 blue screens yesterday. Today I had none until my second session, when it went less than 5 minutes after start up.

I know - doesn't make sense does it. Well, the UPS I ordered should be here tomorrow.

Anyway - I'm still trying to find and reinstall all my software, so carry on...

When did everyone first notice things like TRACED and CONTOURSM not working? I've only just noticed it myself, but that's because I was investigating things not right mentioned in this thread.

It might help us pin down the cause if we know when it happened.

The second part of forest trail is supposed to be waterfalls and river stuff. However, I've had some pretty serious computer problems over the last 3 weeks, so its probably not going to be as large as I wanted it to be. I have hopefully with Remy's guidance and expertise managed to stop it crashing to blue screen of death, and Profantasy has stepped in to provide a really excellent replacement, but those 3 weeks have been lost.
