If you export it as a jpeg of dimensions around 1-2000 on the longest side you should have more luck trying to upload it here.

If I had read it properly in the first place I would have drawn the first 5 steps as patches of white covering the left end of the dungeon, rather than the right end of it. That would turn them the other way around.

And you're welcome. It pays to have a whole arsenal of possible solutions to a problem so that you can chose the best for the job, and the best one is not always the same one each time.

The wall reminds me of those medieval bridges with houses built on them.

And there is a house in Dordogne, France that was built on top of a sturdy wall in the 14th century, though I can't remember the reason. I think it was something to do with taxes at the time.

I'm envisioning something half way between run down and medieval apocalypse. It sounds like others may be thinking about more recent ages than me, so I'd better ask.

I think this is probably going to turn out to be one of the best city maps on the forum when it's done.

You could use the different shades of grass to increase the variation a bit if you don't want them all brown.

Have you ever used Krita? It's one of the many free bitmap editors, but the main reason I have it is to work on hand drawn textures. It has this really useful feature where if you press W the image is tiled on an endless plane of repeats, and you can draw anything you like on it - it will automatically tile seamlessly.
