Hex map
Hexcrawl Toolbox was funded on Kickstarter in late 2022 and physically delivered in August last year (I backed the KS). The beta of the app has only just been released to KS backers last month, as although it was the final stretch goal for the campaign, it's been a year in development already - computers, you know ๐!
Next month, Games Omnivorous are launching their next in this line of hex products, "Boreal Frostlands", as a crowdfunding project on Backerkit. The artwork samples on the sign-up page there look just as wonderful as their previous products already!

Lumadair and the Caves of Dread (Pencil Sketch annual)
I've grouped my Gallery maps by topics that I'll recognise and remember, which should also help guide anyone trying to look for something there as well, with the thumbnail image per topic. I don't think you can second-guess all the possible permutations others might find most useful for how to store maps on the Gallery, so I wouldn't worry over it unduly!
As most of my maps there are for the Atlas, there's an existing structure to follow with those anyway for me, storing them by region.
Very pleased this had been spotted as a problem and resolved, as it turns out I had a couple of folders on the "missing" page 2 that I'd completely forgotten were there! So thanks very much Royal Scribe and Monsen!

Moon Islands
Unfortunately, where I live, far from my original group, people play with "skins" and are too attached to rules, giving very little importance to Role Play (which for me is the most important thing in the game).
That's very disheartening. Is online RPGing a possibility for you? I know a number of Discords that have such groups, for instance, and I'm sure you could find one to better suit your preferred style of play, and in a suitable setting. I realise this may be impractical, of course, and not everyone (including me) would be able to, or comfortable with, online RPGing like that.

Jim Pierce 1947 - 2024
As Sue commented, Remy's notes say it all.
I've been following how things had gone for Jim since his last Forum posting back in April, thanks to Sue and Remy, and indeed it has been a very sad ending to one of the finest fellows in our community.
Jim no doubt has other, greater, adventures to map now. Hopefully, some of his inspiration can live on among all of us. Farewell Rutabagasteu (his YouTube handle).

Egyptian Resources?
Not sure if there may be something like this among the free icon resources listed here, though I don't recall an actual Egyptian burial barge from them offhand (I'm not especially familiar with all these options, however).
There is though a specific top-down, ancient Egyptian barge symbol in this paid-for icon pack from Inkwell Ideas, amongst other items. You'll need to convert the PNG artwork from that to symbols you can use in CC3+, if you need the items as symbols, but that's pretty straightforward.

I think the snag is that volcanoes tend to be, and make, their own mountains, so they'd typically affect how the mountains nearby look as well - that is, they'd blend into one another completely. Right now, they look a bit too much dropped-in-from-space.
That can work in some cases, where the volcanic mountain is quite isolated especially - the classic example might be Olympus Mons on Mars, which has a vast cliff almost all around its outer base.
However here, the symbols look rather out of place currently in both versions.

The softer background does blend the volcanoes in more, but now maybe a bit too much. Given these are meant as really big volcanoes, they should be in the mountains, unfortunately!
The oil-on-water texture for the lava (?) background is delightful, and looks really good. I'm not so sure it works as lava though... (I only come here to cause fresh problems ๐ ๐)

Yes, I agree with Don about the first version.
For other volcanoes this is a usefully-illustrated introductory US National Park Service website that has links to other similar pages with more information that may help give you a better idea of volcano appearances overall.
