Me neither. I have seen a handful of his movies, but not that one.

To answer the original request, no, this forum doesn't have any built-in chat features or online indicators. It would take quite a bit of development effort to add something like that.

  • Incredible Shrinking Windows !

Never seen anything like that shrinking before.

As for the Large Exports, you can just edit the script file found in the annual folder (@Annual\Issue 129 - Large Exports) with notepad or similar. Near the very bottom of the file, there is this line:

    RUNAPP @Annual\Issue 129 - Large Exports\tile.cmd

This is the line that calls that windows batch file that does the stiching and deleting of the output files. Simply remove this line from the script, and that batch file will never be called.

(An alternative is to edit the batch file and remove the commands you don't want, but I find it better to edit the script file as you can then have one copy of the script file with this line and one without so you can easily use it both ways)

    7.04!?! That's loyalty!

It does almost everything I need to, and it is blazing fast. With most modern image editors, I am sitting around waiting for those things to start, even on a pretty beefy machine. PSP7 just appear on my screen instantly.

(Related, my image browser/viewer is ACDSee 2.42 from 1999. Most of my software is not this old, but somehow I am really pleased with the old image editing/viewing stuff.)

  • Deckplan tutorial (COS)

Are you sure you picked the right option? The dialog in your screenshot is the one you get when you pick Cosmographer -> Multi-Deck Tools -> Manage levels [FLOORPLANADD], while the dialog in the guide is still the one you get when you pick Cosmographer -> Multi-Deck Tools -> Copy To Level [FLOORPLANCOPY]

  • WIP: Bleakmoor Harrow - Continent of Estonisch

Birdseye hasn't been added to the image database file yet, so everything from there will show up as unknown. I don't remember if I have added any 2025 annuals yet. It is a manual process to update it.

is it near your house @Monsen ?

No, far to far north. If you want closer to me, you have to go to this area.

  • Draw Hex Grid not matching up

Hexes doesn't align to the top, they normally align to the lower left of the area, which is normally in the bottom left corner of the map.

And since hexes are complicated size-wise due to their geometry, a hex of size 100 miles will be 100 miles side-to-side, but 115.47 miles corner to (opposite) corner, a vertical hex of size 100 won't divide neatly into 500 miles. Rather, due to the alternating nature of hexes, every two hexes will take up 173.205 miles, or an average of 86.103 miles per hex (alternating between 115.47 and 57.735).

Now, you can influence this yourself. When you hit the :CC2HEX: button and set up the overlay, instead of clicking apply to set the grid automatically, click select points instead. Now, place the first point in the top left of your map, and the second in the bottom right. This should create a grid centered on that point.

And do remember you can place points precisely by using the modifiers, such as the endpoint modifier to put it exactly in the corner, or the snap feature if you set up a proper rectangular snap grid first.
