August Mapping Competition - The Results
This time @Jeff B's entry, The Jenin River Whiskey Distillery have been added:
-
Jon Roberts Revisited Bug
You may have downloaded the fixed version Ralf just put up to your Mac. The new fixed version does contain the files, and should install them properly.
For those interested in the technical details, the reason for the lines was that when the symfill files didn't exist, CC3+ failed to load them, so it used the default settings. Which happens to be a very simple vertical line symbol.

Cosmographer Deckplan issues
The tools are all set up with a mirror line of 0 degrees as default which results in the ship being mirrored along the X-axis
If you wish to draw a ship withe the nose pointing up, right click :COSHULL:, look for the tool to use, note the name mentally, then hit the Advanced button and select the tool you wanted in the list to the left.
Now, hit the Options button, and set the mirror line angle to 90 degrees. (Obviosuly, this is only possible for tools that have Mirrored Polygon as the draw method)
Hit OK, and then Hit OK again to start drawing. Say no when it asks you to save your changes, otherwise the tool will be permanently modified.
Then just draw your hull.

Symbol challenge?
Knowing that people have different things going on in their lives, and while a week technically should be enough if one can dedicate all your time that week, most people won't be able to do that. My suggestion is just do a month, run the entire month of May for example. This means you can take a few days and think up a proper announcement post. Take the feedback gained here (perhaps more will come) and then write up a new topic, declaring the challenge and explain the rules (hint: try to be focued, but not overly strict. A common theme to give people ideas and compete in the same space is fine, but too strict rules scares people of (ref the usage discussion above)).
I can then give that topic a temporary sticky status for the duration of the challenge.

Changes to the Gallery Image Viewer
Made another tiny change to make the the forum fill the full browser width when the image viewer is loaded. This doesn't make sense for regular forum posts, because it is really hard reading texts that have lines as wide as a wide monitor, but for the image viewer, it made for a much nicer initial landing page, making it much nicer to use without having to go full screen (of course, full screen is still the nicest view of them all, and highly recommended on mobile devices)

Community Atlas - North West Berenur - Azin Forest
These maps are now in the atlas. Thanks @Ricko Hasche for another excellent contribution.
Note that the Adill, Reefs and Uldir was wrongly scaled, they were about twice as large as the corresponding area on the parent map, so I re-scaled them and edited the scale bars.

Community Atlas 500th map and 4 year anniversary competition with prizes.
Lost Temple of Winter by @Lizzy_Maracuja is now in the atlas. Thanks for contributing and participating in the contest.
I am slowly but surely working through all the competition maps.
