Gioiella, a small Serpentine City map
Had a rather productive Easter Monday:
Added the shipyards and another residential island.
The close proximity to the "important small pact island" (no. 14) gave me the idea for another storyline, and so I've also added a bit of an open air dungeon (no. 13).
Played around with the global map effects switch a bit (Thanks again Monsen), but still on the fence whether I should include the overlays in the Source map.
Then I added the Buttons, Parchment background and cartouches. Enough work for today. The only thing i might still add is some Island / large channel names. I'm a bit tempted to ask my players if they have some time this evening...

Tang Shen - The Spider City
My first attempt at using the CA143 Asian Town-Style
Had this map lying around for a while, until I managed to sort our the gras texture's "Transparency-Acne"-Issues in another map (Thanks again Loopysue).
I drew the spider in CD3, using a free to use photo as source and then adding the mandibles and eyes.
Think that the town is a bit "special-heavy" (too many special buildings and not enough normal residences) - but I still like it and my players seem to prefer "a bit unrealistic but fun" to "totally acurate but more dull".
What do you think about the map?

[WiP] What's happening under Iorek's Tower - Creepy Crypts Dungeon
Going deeper:
If our adventurous heroes climb ( or - gods forbid - jump) down the hole, they will enter the Mushroom Caves - which are the uppermost level of a lair / underground laboratory.
The creatures inhabiting it grow two different kinds of mushrooms: A "healthy" type, with mild healing properties and a strong scent (which may be used to fool the creatures, whose primary senses are hearing and smell)...
... and a flesh-dissolving, slightly magical type, that requires flesh as nourishment, which the creatures try to provide in the form of unfortunate adventurers.
The "bone disposal hole" near the mushrooms may actually be used to climb down to the lower levels, allowing for a dangerous stealthier approach than the central shaft or the stairs.
A few items that resisted the corroding spores of the mushrooms were considered "special" and placed on a stone slab serving as makeshift altar, along with special "holy" mushrooms.
Looking forward to running this - haven't done "old school dungeons" in a while.

The Calm Water Lily Inn
Long time no see.
This is a quick, Japan-inspired Inn Map, that I created for an short adventure to run at a convention.
Primary style is Asian Town, with some bits and pieces of SS5 and the Forest Trails Dungeon style.
Here's a version without comments and grid, which may be suitable for VTT:
Larger Versions are in my gallery.
Have a good start into the week!

Dark Water Monastery - Style mix village scale map
Thanks a lot, @JimP
I kept the central cavern almost life-free to emphasize it's demonic nature (the octopus is my stand in-figure for the demon, and if the players actually try the water from the well, they will find it dead-sea-salty).
But you have inspired me to "liven up" the relatively untainted water to the west. Really starting to like the Marine Dungeons style and its possibilities Especially the "swirly" marine sand looks great.
I've added a number of rock columns to give both the players and the demon more cover (the latter is a very good and quiet climber, so it'll also be able to hide on the ceiling).
Also added a slight edge fade between the gravelly cave walls and the earth and darkened the latter a bit.
Think this'll be the final version:

Monte Picciano - Trying out the "Fantasy Town" style

The Swamp Rat - Playing around with Lighting
@seycyrus : Three swamp rats without grid coming right up. Have fun. :)

The Temple of Hekaria - a Dungeons of Schley Battlemap
Felt inspired by @Ricko Hasche . This map is a bit more plain than his temple map, but I wanted the ambush on my characters to take place inside the temple. ๐
This map is loosely based on the image of the temple on the Karing town map from the Splittermond Witch Queen campaign.
I Created the three faced goddess-statue using assets from Forgotten Adventures.
The rest is Dungeons and Cities of Schley.
Gritless version - in case someone might ask: ๐
Larger versions are in my gallery.
Have a great Friday.
