Selecting Coastline apart from Land

Hopefully this is the right place to post this, I couldn't find a board for software questions. Somehow, my land has found itself on the same layer as my coastline, and I seem to be unable to select one without the other. Any tricks to help me here? Thanks!

CC3+ allows you to select by lots of different criteria, such as the color the entity, the layer, the fill style, the entity tag, etc.
