CTRL+Mouse Wheel Scroll Issue

When I press CTRL+Scroll with the mouse wheel the tool zooms in, rather than changing the size of the symbol. I'm guessing there's a setting somewhere to toggle but not sure where to look?

The default way it works is you hold control and move your mouse up or down to change size, not by scrolling with the mouse wheel.
