So i've finally sat down and started mapping out the island my parents hail from. I'll be working on and off on this between my own campaign mapping. He's a sat photo of the island i'm working off of. I've narrowed down the mountains i want to use and am now working on getting the right combination of fills i like for this. This is going to take a while....

My goodness! Is that speckled area around the... ancient volcanic plug(?) all a built up area?

Ischia is an amazing island. My wife and I visited it during our honeymoon. Great start to the map.

For those who don't know -- Ischia is the island where large parts of the film The Talented Mr Ripley was filmed. As the locals say -- bellissima!
