Yes. One of the main criticisms levelled at CC3 mappers is that our maps are very similar because we use a fixed set of symbols, but I have always disagreed, because unless you choose to specifically emulate another CC3 mapper you can tell who drew each of a collection of maps when they are displayed in close proximity. Non of our critics seem to recognise that symbol use and placement are very much an individual thing that is as particular to a CC3 mapper as a fingerprint - personal styles within the general style.
It always makes me smile when I see non-CC3 mappers trying to emulate one another well enough to be mistaken for each other
Oh I REALLY like this one, Charles. It's beautiful. And inspiring....there is a land on the eastern shores of the island of Forynth where my players are, i've named Ranku....i am already envisioning the maps may now create when/if they find themselves travelling to those far off lands. Thanks for giving another new perspective to this style!
I take CC3 as a base to grow up later. When i feel short of symbols, i create my own ones, sometimes using the CC3 ones as a base and then PS to change form, colour, etc...
If you plan to do several maps, i advice you to do that small job. It will be worth.

I have the 1st hardback. :-)
Thanks Barliman!
Does that mist come with the annual, or did you make it yourself ?
I borrowed it from the Dracula Dossier set. :-)
I wanted to have each of the four maps to have a different feel to them even though they are the same style.

I am glad that you all are taking a new look at this beautiful style. It is super easy to use and there are so many things that you can do with it.
