Absolutely beautiful! You've got a great attention to detail.

Very strange that, in my FF browser, the map is sideways in your topic but, if I right-click and choose View Image, it displays properly.

i dont know why the map displays sideways. I wondered if a smaller version would be different, but it always displays the same.

Changing from jpg to png fixes the sideways issue. : )

It is very Tolkienish! It looks like it's the Pete Fenlon issue (January) of the 2008 Annual (Vol. 2, for those counting that way). Fenlon did the maps for ICE's MERP (Iron Crown Enterprise's Middle-Earth Role-Playing) books and modules. I used to stand in the hobby shop and book store and just page through them looking at the maps and art.

EDIT: Changed my assertion the map was done using the Cartographer's Annual style to a guess.

Try Dogtag's trick - right click while hovering your cursor above the map you want to view, and one of the options should enable you to view the map in a separate panel, which should then be the right way up. In Chrome it's "Open image in new tab", for instance.

fixed the sideways issue by using png files instead of jpg.

The map doesn't use the annual Fenlon style. Its a Fenlon style of my own, currently at version 3.3.

HOLY COW! That makes the map even more amazing. Seriously, that's absolutely gorgeous work.

I've gone back and edited my earlier post to make it clear that was my [wrong] opinion. Wow again. I didn't think the map could be more impressive but I was wrong about that too.

Brilliant map. I love this style. I think your version is better than the one I've seen on here. Any chance we can get access to it? Also, is this CC3 or CC3+?

Note to Devs: Not buying any annuals until there's a full conversion of them from CC3 to CC3+. If this has already been done, please, someone, advise.
