Gee golly whillikers. I really do appreciate Ralf. Am I supposed to appreciate him even more? I know of only one shortcoming that he has. He lives in Prussia rather than Bavaria. Of course, it could be that he's hidden the keys to the annuals here in Bavaria and is waiting for us to do a kickstarter to buy him a Bavarian house.
Even if that's not the case, it has the beginnings of a good fantasy RPG adventure in it.
Or perhaps we are to follow him on this grand adventure? Or he has given us a quest? Where in the world has he hidden Annual 119? Perhaps in a deep, dark dungeon. Or in a cavern on an isolated island where it is rumored a dragon lives? Far off in the north, at the bottom of the ocean lies a merfolk kingdom, maybe it is hidden within the cold deep? Maybe it is in a chest, buried at the base of an ancient tree, deep in the lush forests of Bavaria. Or in the nest, on a mountain top, of a giant eagle? Oh....where is the Annual? Who will get to it first?
Or perhaps the timed publishing mechanism for the content management system had a gremlin problem.
Either way, the link is up. The November issue of the annual is now available for download from your registration page — if you're subscribed, of course.
I have to agree with Lorelei on that one. Would probably make the annual a bit more expensive than usual, when factoring in traveling expenses. But my what fun.
Hmm, I did miss the 'nest' part in there when I read it the first time, I found the idea of hiding the annual on top of a giant eagle a bit "interesting".
