I was looking at photos on the Astronomy photo of the day site and wodnered how o make them useable as continents, islands, etc.

So I imported this into a CC3 template.

What a unique and creative idea Jim! This gives the map a very organic and natural flow.

It's coming along quite nicely and I hope that you continue with it. I'd love to see it when it's done.

The "Deep Blue" is an idea from the blue holes in the Bahamas. Shallow water, then a deep drop off. I've reduced the pic depth a bit.

Not sure what is left to do at this scale, except do some sheet effects.

You should consider finding a texture for the forest. Right now, that bright green solid crashes wit the rest of the map.

I had to change the scale way up, it looked too regular otherwise. It is Forest, Deciduous (Light).png from Natalya Faden's texture files.
