Vejorvik - Ye Old Spoon and Egg Inn
Hi, I use the city of Vertshusen in mt own campaign world as the City of Vejorvik. I need an Inn for the players, so have chosen one building, which is now the Old Egg and Spoon Inn. I will also be submitting it to the Atlas when all floors are finished.
Here is the first floor, and the roof.
The sign I did using AI. @Monsen can I send it with the Atlas submission as a png to be added to the community Atlas shared symbols etc?

Ok, but please make sure the path to the image is a proper relative path prepared for the atlas so I don't have to manually correct it on each floor map. I.e. $..\Resources\Bitmaps\Quenten\ImageFileName.png
OK. I'll make sure of that.
Love this map, Quenten!
2nd floor
Where did you get the stairs? I like them! Wooden stair systems are missing in a lot of the symbol sets?
The Bogie set- they should come s an option when you click on the Stair button when using DD3, if you have the free Bogie symbols installed.
The third floor - the landlord's rather luxurious apartment for himself, wife, son and baby daughter.
Where did this half orc innkeeper get SO much money - Mmmmmmmm. AND his 'study' is behind a triple locked door. Mmmmmmm.
Love this!
@Monsen I can only get the png to be set as an absolute path, even though the FCW is in the Ezrute folder and the png is in the Resources\Bitmaps\Quenten folder. It will not let me set it as a relative link, even when I use numeric edit to change the absolute link form D:\Mapping\1a Interactive Atlas\Resources etc, to $..\Resources etc, as a relative link. It tells me that the file is not in the cc3 folder and then reverts back to the absolute link. But the png is DEFINITELY in the correct folder, along with the Minub pngs (see below)
The best I can do is use the absolute link, which you can perhaps fix to the relative link, OR put the png into the Ezrute file. If you choose the latter, i can do that myself.
Can you tell me why I can't use the relative link - is it because the folders are too far apart from each other? But I notice that for the Minub file in Doriant, it seems to have been no problem?
The Basement - the boxes are a bit messy - wonder why? ANd the landlord obviously like the occasional tipple out of the sight of his wife.
AND ... the real secret will be revealed once I switch the Gamesmaster layer on......
THE SECRET IS REVEALED!!!! X-RATED!!! CRIME LORD BUSTED!!! IMPEACHMENT PENDING!!!
Had fun using a lot of the Bogie symbols.

Yea, this is a limitation of the check CC3+ tries to do to check if it is a valid relative path. Unfortunately, the check doesn't work correctly when you have the parent directory relative, so it thinks it isn't valid.
The easiest way to change this is to use the REPLACEIMAGENAMESDWG command. This is a search/replace text command that finds parts of the path and replacing it. With this, based on the folder structure you provided above, you can have it search for
D:\Mapping\1a Interactive Atlasand replace it with$..(I recommend having a backup copy of the map before you do this, this command is not undo-able if you do something wrong)
After running the command you can check that everything works by clearing the bitmap cache, then reload the map and use LIST on the image to verify the new path.
The command is also explained near the bottom of this article: https://rpgmaps.profantasy.com/why-do-i-see-a-red-x/
Great, thanks, Remy - I'll fix that now. I will also be making an alteration to the Vertshusen map to add this building in the index - hope that is OK, since the map was my contribution initially. Let me know if it isn't, though.
It's ok, just make sure to do the modification to the atlas version of the map and not your original one.
Yes, I get that. Thanks. I just have one more floor of the Boris and Bear Tavern to go, and I will put all my Vertshusen buildings to you in an email to process.
