I Can't Buy Campaign Cartographer And Other Such Products
Hello and hi, uhh... I have a problem. As you can tell by the title I can't buy anything. How? My region. I'm Indonesian. And well, it's charging me in GB... I don't have British Pounds on me. I don't I ever will considering the exchange rate but that's beside the point. I'd rather not pirate the software because I want to support people, I just can't because I got stinked in the birth lottery I guess. Is there a way I can legally purchase anything or am I just... out of luck?
Thanks for your time and consideration.

I was trying to purchase it from the official store. I already change my country of origin but it still shows up as GB. I'll try contacting them to see if they could help
The currency of sale will always be either UK Pounds or US dollars, no matter the country picked, we don't have pricing available in other currencies.
This shouldn't normally be a problem though. When you pay with your credit (or debit) card, your bank will automatically convert to the local currency, cards can be used to pay in any currency without actually having that currency in your account. This is exactly as it is for me, being Norwegian, my local currency is NOK, but I still use my regular cards to pay in all kinds of various currencies all over the world. Most stores only offer their local currencies, and maybe a few more, only the largest stores have the infrastructure to handle payments in the user's local currency.
I can confirm that.
My currency happens to be British Pounds (£), but I have bought stuff from American sites. The exchange is dealt with by the bank so you don't have to worry about it.
Ah I see, thank you for the help. I'm a bit new when it comes to buying anything internationally so I didn't know
No worries, NewGam.
It's not immediately obvious to anyone who's never done it before.
You should though check your card provider's terms and conditions before carrying out the transaction, as you may find there's a small extra fee to convert the currency (about 3% of the transaction value is common, though not universal). Like Loopysue, I'm in the UK, but have carried out transactions this way for some years for US, Canadian and New Zealand Dollars and Euros, for instance, and the transactions have always been pretty straightforward.
Also, if you're concerned, you can pay through PayPal (even if you don't have a PayPal account), and that shows you exactly how much you'll be paying in your own currency, including the conversion fee (and your card provider shouldn't charge you any extra).
Yes, PayPal is very handy for international purchases. I'm in the US but have done plenty of shopping on UK sites. My card does add an international conversion fee, though, so as Wyvern said, you may want to check with your bank first to see how much that charge will be.
Hi @NewGam
Some time ago, I also tried to buy products for Fantasy with my international credit card via the internet from Argentina. And consistently the purchase was declined for reasons that... neither the bank or the card operator knew how to answer - Also Fantasy support didnt know why... mysteries...
The solution I found to acquire products from Profantasy, then, was to buy the products via humble dumble where the card is normally accepted.
