File formats
Hi. I'm new to this software. I've yet to start making maps, as I'm still at the"what's this all about" stage. I gather that CC3+ is a vector program, which I like, but looking at file output sites, I get the impression that the program can only emit bitmap files. Ideally, I would like to generate proper PNG or, even better, SVG files.
Is the above correct? If so, how do others manage to get vector files?

The main export options for CC3+ is PNG, JPEG and BMP.
The native format of CC3+ is fcw (fastcad), which is a vector format, but that's not much use outside the program. That's a limitation of vector formats in general; because the way data is stored in a vector format file, it is not straightforward to convert between different vector formats while still preserving the visuals the same way you can do with image files.

That should be "file output types" not "sites".
You can output to PDF as well. PDF is pretty awesome
I don't know about vector outputs at all.
