I've finished my southward extension of the Dragon Empire map, encompassing the lands for my next campaign. All labeled in German now.

Absolutely stunning. Requires a lot of patience to put that level of detail in. Watching you do part of this expansion in the last Live was very informative.
Beautiful, Ralf. Do you have any advice on internationalization of a map? It would be nice to hit a button and change the language used, as in a string table in some software.

If I wanted a multi-language version, i'd make two layers, one for the English text and the other for German. I'd then add a button with a macro hotspot, toggling those two layers. Voila, dual-language.
Brilliant. I suppose one could copy the first layer and simply change text on the new one. Then, everything would line up when you switch.

You might need to be aware of instances where one language needs a substantially larger number of letters, or even words, to translate the name would be my only caveat.
Here is the multi-lingual version. No button yet, but you can hide/show the text layers to depcit the map in German or English.
And if anyone is interested in the accompanying campaign primer, I've run it through ChatGPT for a translation.
