Change roof colours in Random Street Options

This time its changing colours in the Options interface and hanging onto them till I make a street.

Image A in the attatchment has a roof symbol set I'd LOVE to use in my city but no matter how many times I have tried to at least use it as a street and set the House Options to reflect that, when I go to draw a street, one of the Default settings comes out instead (image B). I did manage to get it to work once but I don't know how.

    Dialog A is showing the "House Editor". From here you can edit all the house types, but it isn't here that you pick the actual buildings the street tool will draw. To do that, click the Street settings button instead in the main random street options dialog (seen in the background of "A"), and configure the street with the building types you want. You should find the same buildings available in the dropdown as in the dialog in "A", so you can use that to preview the buildings in higher detail.
