The missing symbols means that the previous mapper did use some symbols not part of the core CC3+ symbols. Just delete them and reupload the file. (either you. or the next mapper can take care of t)
Hi Monsen, finally got the chance to use the Windows machine instead of remoting into it, and the screen display of the text is fine, as shown in the screenshot. So to add to your databank, remoting into Windows from a Mac may cause odd text rendering in both screen display and image output.
Sorry, I forgot about the core CC3+ rule - got used to the Community Atlas rule. I have fixed it here. Challenge as per above ie 'Put something to counterballance the evil on the small islands in the northwest.'

My challenge to the next mapper is:
> > > Add some rivers to the mainland < < <</b>
Challenge: the SW corner of the large island is looking sparse -- add some natural or manmade features to liven it up.
My challenge to the next mapper is:
> > > Improve the sea by adding coastal and decorative symbols < < <
Next challenge - add something really devilish. Note number of map
And no, I see Packman all the time
Next challenge:
Put something to counterballance the evil on the small islands in the northwest.
In the map, the monsterssymbols are not shown. Those are "the here be monsters" monsters, right?
My challenge to the next mapper is:
> > > Add some symbols to represent exiting adventure locations < < <
Next challenge:
Name the islands and archipelago.
Next challenge:
> > > Add trade/shipping route(s) that service the island(s) < < <
Here are the trade routes, with a few stops added.
Challenge - add 3 geographical features anywhere.
<<<Add 3 small villages to the main island>>>
