I have now turned in the map to Monsen for the Atlas.
And guess what: The new 2 month Lite challenge at the Cartographers' guild is making a city - yeah. i have nearly finished Nesvines, and am about 2-3 weeks from finishing Dun Fingolfin, so I am getting started now on a new city. I think I might use a modern style, or else a ruined city. I'll think about it over the net few days - and all suggestions welcome. it also will go in the Atlas of course, (and my world Myirandios, as per usual).
Here is the task: "So the Challenge is to Map a City or Large Town, it could be ancient , Medieval or modern , a City or a Metropolis, isometric, bidimensional or tridimensional ... Have a story background explaining how and why it was founded or evolved and feature some monuments in it ... Any size, any setting, any race or culture. It might be a small elven tree city in a fantasy world or a large Klingon settlement on a distant moon."
It would be great if some others from here also entered - making a city for the competition, the atlas and your own campaigns all for the price of one. and it would keep me company.
Ok. So i JUST saw this map. I was in the Atlas, perusing around when i came across this and just laughed out loud. The names......the names, hahahhaaa. Thank you Q for letting us all live on in venerated named locations in this lovely city!

I have no idea which one is correct.
