Hi Ladies and Gents

Please take a look at the attached battle map and let me know what i can improve on.

Its for a random city encounter in the city of Chult (sword coast)

Nice map! Put a fade on the river and the road. the straw should be flat on the ground, and therefore have no shadow.

The shore also looks a bit too regular. Also, if you plan to showcase the finished version here,consider including a version without the grid.

river bank edge is a bit too smooth. Otherwise looks good to me.

It looks a lot better without the grid and a few more details

If you really need the grid you would be surprised how faint you can afford to make it and it still be visible and perfectly usable. Try turning the grid lines black instead of white and adding first a Glow Sheet effect set to a fairly low level so that it is only just visible - Outside and a pale blue colour, then add a Transparency sheet effect set to about 25% opacity or even lower than that.
