Color Differences

I imported my continent into a bigger map. Then imported an old CC2 fantasy realms map of Kara Tur next to it.
Everything was fine until I noticed my base land color had changed to a darker color. I looked back at the original map, and it was still a lighter color.
But at some point in the new expanded area map, it changed.
BUT HERE's THE PROBLEM....
Its not changed, it just looks changed. Same entity, same layer, same color. Normally, I would just say "huh" and change it back to my favored correct color.
But according to the system, it already is?
I did a list info on each item. They are both color 45. Same sheet. same layer, effects turned off.
I'm confused.
Here is the correct (old) color).

Click View --> Toolbars, and then make sure the Status bar is checked. An arrow will appear showing you whether it will be at the top or bottom of the screen. Most people have it at the top.
When you ok it the Status bar should appear as a string of small windows with a different piece of information in each one. In the middle of that there is a small square of colour. If you click that the palette will open.
Have a good look at the palette in the drawing where the colour is right, then check the map where its wrong. If they are different you will have to decide what you want to do next - whether to save the right palette as a custom palette and then load the custom palette into the wrong coloured map and attach it to the map, or not.
If you click that little colour square you will get the palette. As I said above, you need to compare the palette for each map and make a decision about whether you want to transfer the palette from the right coloured map to the wrong coloured on by saving a custom palette from the first and then loading the custom palette into the second.
Not sure how I got a map that was using a custom pallete as my standard, but at least the advice got the new expanded map fixed all up.
Thanks again.
