I sort of remember that discussion, but basically, each VTT has different requirements. Basically battlemap tiles and some have set maximum sizes. The one I have been learning requires jpg. Epic Table.
It was basically my ignorance of the "options" option when saving files. Once I changed the options for a different size and resolution the maps are coming out beautifully in Fantasy Grounds.
Now, to hone in on creating maps of a consistent "style". That is my current largest hurdle I believe,.. :)
If its the same general location, just do a save as, filename01, filename02, etc. and make changes to the ones after the original. That has helped me make multiple level buildings like towers. And similar villages.
