Using tools & fills from other Styles - updated info?

I just upgraded to CC3+. I have been working on my old CC3 maps in the new software. Am I right that I can only use a Mike Schley fill tool (like the Mountains fill tool) if I copy/paste everything in my map over to a Mike Schley template, or is there a way to make one style's fill tool work with another style's template now? (The only thread I found that addresses this issue was from 2009, entitled "Using tools and fills from other Styles.") Thanks.

    Procedure is still exactly the same as before. Either you import the Mike Schley fill styles into your current map (for example via tools -> Import bitmap fill styles, or by inserting a map containing these fill styles into your current map), or as the option you suggested yourself, create a new map in Mike Schley style and use the clipboard to copy everything over.
