About Border and Screem

Hello folks. As I said before I am comming back to CC and I am still veeeery rusty.

Right now I am trying to do a nice border bu I am falling miserably. Any tips? And the screen (the white border), I deleted mine... How can I redo it?

The screen is just one or more white polygons on the SCREEN sheet. You can draw a new one using any tool that can create a solid white shape. It is normally drawn so that it starts at the map border and extends outwards enough to cover any symbols extending beyond the border.

I usually draw two white rectangles and multipoly them.

Because I try to avoid multipolies (as they are hard to edit), I usually draw a polygon like the attached one - only in white and solid of course. I've expanded the lower right corner in the screenshot a bit, so you can better see how it is drawn.

That's a better idea

If I'm in a really big hurry I sometimes use a solid white poly with a set line width, and draw it half the line width away from the actual border using a grid and snap.

The problem with that is if you want to expand it to cover something that's still sticking out you have to work out how much wider the line width has to be and move it half the increase further out from the map all round.

I do this too, but use Ortho for the straight bits. I notice you use a grid, which is good if it matches the drawing, which sometimes it doesn't (or at least, i can't get it to).
