I'm sure I know the answer to this question already, but in the faint hope that I might be wrong (because it would help a lot if I was), I'll ask it just to be sure.
Is it possible to group a house on one sheet with a chimney on another sheet, and for them both to remain on their respective sheets with their respective effects in play?
I was wanting a way to keep the house and the chimney together so that I could move them around without having to make sure that I had selected both things each time.

Sheets (and groups) are physical containers of entities, while layers are logical associations of entities. The physical implementation is that layers are attributes of entities (specifically one layer per entity), while sheets and groups are entities that own lists of other entities. Every entity has a layer, but not every entity has a sheet or a group. Does that muddy things nicely?
Thank you, Joe! That's splendid :P
