Oh great. I'm now running a fever, my eyes hurt, and I'm sneezing. Sinuses blocked up, but they are also taking turns draining. I think its my allergies. It was 81F today, more of the same all week. Temperaures setting new records and air conditioner not on at night. Argh.

Near the Desperate Caves Caldera for dungeon number 1 is a Ghost Tower. It is uspposed to be abandoned, but there are deep pits for mining gold and silver. They are reached by the basement of this tower. In the mines are the Pits of Despair.
Smelters turn the ore into gold and silver ingots.
The Wizards who run The Desperate Cave's Discontent Three villages have tried to stop this work, but they have so far been unable to do so.
Glow and Inner Glow were used to give the pits more depth.

A stark lonely place, even for the Bosses and Administrators. No sunlight except near the large entrances. All have to deal with the old smell of many years of lamp oil smoke. Even the Bosses Dining Room is not pleasant. The dishes are never completely clean, nor is the food tasteful. But the miners don't see that, they only think of the priviledges the Big Guys have of eating their noon meal on the surface and having clean water, even though the water isn't clean nor plentiful for anyone.

Looks like I need to lessen the glows on the walls.
