Inseln im Nebel - Isles in the Mist

I happened across this beautiful CC3 map on the web, done for a classic German RPG campaign: Isles in the Mist .

It's not done by me, and I don't know the author, but I thought I'd share it, since I haven't seen this map before. It's a nice example of creating a beautiful map from a limited subject (lots of small islands).

That looks nice. Any chance of blowing it up a little? Its hard to make out the details when you're an old fogey like me.

Click the link a few lines above the thumbnail instead of the thumbnail itself and you get a nice high-res version (Just remember to get your browser to show it at the actual size, and not fit it to screen as most modern browsers does by default with images larger than the screen)

The Main Problem with this map was to fill the large water parts without creating a large boring water area. So i decide to draw the water deepness.
Something to the Background: In earlier times there was joust one Island (Thiranog) which breaks in several islands.
