Great stuff! I often have kids trying out the program at conventions and it's always lovely to see them trying it out - some, like your son, produce great first maps with very little help.

When I was nine, Pluto was still a planet!

That's messed up what happened to Pluto.

The map however, looks good. Oh to have the imagination of that age, and the bank account of a later age..

When I was 9 I had 2 full time jobs, and got frostbite walking to school in June! Also I had 2 kids and a ex-wife by then! We didn't have Tide Pods, we didn't even have a washing machine. You kids on your "electricity!"

Sadly, it was galaxy astronomers that demoted Pluto. The planetary astronomers had no say. Which I think is silly.

(When I was 9, there was no such thing as a computer screen, and computers only ever produced an endless stream of tickertape with lots of holes punched in it! :P)
