I like Bhagavan but is a later term. How about a term that is much older, Brahman - "The oldest Sanskrit texts use the term Brahman to represent an abstract Supreme Soul, Absolute Reality, while using names of deities like Krishna, Vishnu, Shiva to represent gods and goddesses."
Another concept that I can do is just call it "Makara Style". I want to create my own symbols anyway, I can just release a new set as I do one for each of my cultures in Kelleemah. I could do it as a series, "Kelleemah: Makara Style.". That is of course, they like it. Lol! :-). Since each set would be done the same way, they would be compatible. I will post the map later tonight in it's own post as a show and tell.
Actually, I wondered if "Lands of Indra" for this style - as used in your other topic on this subject - might not be a better name overall. Or perhaps something less deity-related, such as "Wonders of the Subcontinent", or "Subcontinent Mysteries", instead, as well as fitting more with the naming of other CC3+ style packages by ProFantasy (keeping one eye on the hopeful likelihood of this style featuring in an Annual issue sometime next year, say!).
Good points Wyvern. This reminds me of one of my marketing classes where we had to market a fictitious product that we came up with ourselves. It was a really cool project, but one of the hardest things was figuring out what to call it. Lol! :-)
