Polar Projection for FT3?

I'm trying to get a good export from FT3, using real-world data of Earth, from a polar perspective. Basically, I want to get a CC3+ base map of the polar region, looking at it from the top down, primarily focused on elevation.
I'm trying to imagine what the poles would look like if the ice caps retreated and it turned out they were hiding a basin there, so I'm trying to at least get realistic continental outlines surrounding the polar regions.

Suggestions on how to make FT3 cough up that info the right way?

You should get a polar projection by choosing the Ortographic projection, and setting latitude to 90 (or -90)

Azimuthal Equidistant, Gnomonic, Lambert Azimuthal Equal-Area, Orthographic, and Stereographic all provide polar aspects (any projection that doesn't have cylindrical, conic, or interrupted in its description). Set the Latitude to +90 or -90 to get the north or south pole, respectively.
