Moved: Need help printing PDFs
I have recreated my previous post which was on the wrong page:
Thank you for clicking.
I cannot seem to print my map at full scale across several pages. My friend has a 60" wide printer, so I would like to print a very large map, but I can't seem to save it full scale as a PDF. I'm sure there's a way to get it to work. When I use a PDF printer driver, it only generates a blank PDF at 11kb. I'm sure the file I want will be substantially larger than that.
Any help is quite appreciated!

1. "Everything" selected (under "View to print").
2. "All visible sheets as one page..." selected (under "Sheet:").
By default CC3 only wants to print the COMMON sheet. Which is empty/white.

Find the post by Simon Rogers with the 6 steps in it. I have exported maps in 8000x6000 pixels resolutions using this technique.
Then I found that post by Simon that I just linked in the post above. You need to register there to see it, but this version of Sirilion was made using PDF creator. It's huge:

The larger maps can take minutes to print as PDF, so try to be patient.
Did you try the TILING options at the bottom rather than the FIT TO PAGE option? Tiling allows you to print a map out as a large printing over multiple sheets, and also allows you to set an OVERLAP PERCENTAGE (i.e. once printed out the pages overlap a little so pages and are not lined up edge to edge).
That should solve you printing a PDF over multiple pages as a single document.
Yep, just tried it.
Works great, I now have a City map as a LARGE 4 page PDF file.
Thank you so much! That is pretty wonderful information. CC3 seems to have a good bit of trouble handling these print jobs, though. I don't know whether to let it sit or if it's crashed. After I click PRINT, the small window comes up, and it sits and sits and sits. Now, I may not be letting it sit long enough, but when I click around CC3 seems to hang. Do I need to just let it process overnight or am I wasting time waiting for it?
Thanks for any help

Of course if it sits all night.........
I have found the perfect solution to my problem! I'll simply start saving as jpegs. It doesn't crash CC3, and I have found a resolution that will be suitable for my needs. I will be taking this to my friend tomorrow, and he will be able to print it off for me! Thanks for all the help along the way Gandwarf and NeonKnight!
Many, many thanks,

Nice map btw!
