Drawing Properties Button

Greets,

Just installed Annual 2 and it's suggesting I alter scale by clicking on the Drawing Properties button. I can't see it anywhere on my toolbars. A search of the forum and support yielded no answers.

Can advise?

LOL! I did not know that. Been using File>Drawing Properties. from the menu or, more frequently during my work on the annuals, the text command, PRESETS. I had no idea there was a button. :-))

As far as I've been able to count, there are just shy of 1000 commands defined in the system and only a fraction of those commands are on the menus or toolbars. It's probably for everyone's benefit that way, as commands like COUNTPICTURES are of very limited utility for the general population.

I've been using the Drawing Properties button right from the start. I just forgot what it was called about five minutes after my brain logged a visual link between clicking it and the result of clicking it, so I had no idea how to answer Calibre's question when it first appeared.

And then when I read Remy's answer I had one of those 'oh yeah...doh' moments. LOL!

Thanks. The icon in the map guide was vastly different, so I did not bother mousing over what I thought was either a publish or hyperlink button or something similar.

The image in the guide is probably the CC3 version of the button. The actual annual documentation hasn't been updated, since things are done the exact same way in CC3+ too, just with a few updated buttons and sometimes slightly tweaked dialogs.

Quick question, sir: (and forgive me if it's readily apparent again...work tired)

But how do I call back up the map guide for Fenlon again? Searched the site with no luck again.

All annual documentation are in the annual directory inside the main CC3+ data directory. There should be a subfolder for each issue there, that contains the example maps and the mapping guide.

You can also bring up the Annual documentation by going through the menu: Tools > Add-ons > choose the appropriate Annual. That will bring up an html page with link to all the mapping guides.
