Conflicting Sheet Effects question
In this tiny snapshot of a much larger map, you'll see my problem. The sheet effect on my river (Glow) has serious issues with the effect on my coastline (Glow effect on the Land sheet). Now, I understand that I could fix this by erasing the river and drawing it so that it doesn't overlap the water of my ocean, but that would create various difficulties in regard to having to redraw said river.
Is it possible to trim the river so that it ends exactly at the coastline?
Is it possible to bring the Glow on the Land sheet in front of (or on top of) the river?
Thanks!

To bring the glow forward you will have to inspect which sheet is actually providing the glow and determine on which sheet the river is being drawn. From looking at the map it looks to me like the glow might be a part of the LAND sheet instead of the SEA sheet. If that is the case, then bringing the SEA sheet above the LAND sheet will not solve the problem. If the glow is part of the SEA sheet, then a reordering of the sheets to make the SEA sheet lower in the listing than the sheet that contains the river, might fix your problem. But this solution can cause other problems, like the border of the land might get "lost" under the water.
To get the effect cleanly you would have to have a 3 sheets in the following order in the listing. LAND, RIVERS, SEA. This means that the landmass will get drawn first, then the river and finally the sea. You will have to apply your glow effect to the sea sheet, and it looks like you also have a glow on the river. Since your land will be below the sea sheet, you will need to draw the coast using the water instead of the other way around.
This is confusing but with practice it become easier.
Hope that helps.
