DD3 - Sunken Floors

I'm trying to give the appearance of sunken floors for pits, multi-level tiles, and pools. I scale the floor fill accordingly so it is smaller than the ground level floor fill. I add an Inner Glow of RGB=0 for additional depth but it is still not looking right for me. I could really use some input for the water. Any and all suggestions welcome.
