Community Atlas - Artemisia - Monastery of Holy Spiros
Here is my first draft of the island that the monastery is on. I will be detailing the monastery later on. I hope to include 2 upper Levels, and 2 underground levels.

Other than that, the island looks nice. And I'm looking forward to see the map of the monastery:)
I really like the style of this map, very cartoonesque. In addition to Charles remarks, I would say the following:
It looks strange to me that there is not a direct road between Aretizo and Paraitege.
I have a scale issue with the trees. Getting them so big is part of what I like in this map. Yet, on the other hand, they overshadow everything. The henge is almost invisible, the hills looks like molehills. In maps, one tree can represent a whole forest, yet at this scale, it looks almost like each tree stands for a real tree, which it does not. I don't know what to suggest about it except maybe up-scaling the henge a little bit.
The coast looks a little bit too straight and angular. I don't think it matches the rest of the style perfectly. Have you tried fracalizing it a little bit?
Finally, I'm disturbed by the three hills close together with a grotto inside. It may be on purpose, but I think this detail really shows that this is the same symbol copied thrice. Maybe you could remove one or mirror it or adjust scale to add diversity if you really want that grottos?
I agree that too many buildings can overwhelm a large scale map.
Here is my current update. Only thing I will change are the things above - I really appreciate the critical observations, they will help a lot.
My only comment earlier would have been to add a watercourse or two, but I've been overtaken by the speed of your map amendments! Worth remembering that some of us aren't online here every day, maybe, though I appreciate you want to press-on when you have the time available.
On the final map, some of the trees along the north shore seem to be "below" the coastline; the scale perhaps needs something more than just "2 m" on it; and maybe give the river a name?
Just for future maps of such scale, it would fit great to see the roads also interacting with the terrain: to "hide" between hills, etc (check at southeast part of the island, it goes in front of a tree when it´s supposed to be below it). This gave me an idea about future mappings. Thanks!
This is because I do a couple of things (such as map notes and sidebar), as well as some minor (non-mapping) changes when needed, and I don't want to have to repeat that process.
