I know I can use the vari-color stalagtites and stalgmites, but are there others that give a good impression of ice caves or ice covered caves ?

Personally, when working with snow caves, I also focus more on the fill styles and shapes rather than symbols, although that depends quite a lot on what you wish to convey.
