Mine Cart Tracks 2017

Hey guys,

I am wanting to do a map of a mine that has mine cart tracks in it. I found a past thread from 2008 but the links for the tracks are not there. I am using CC3+ . Anybody give me any advice on finding a layer I can use?

I recommend using a thick grey line with a bevel effect for the rails themselves. Use Offset to create parallel tracks.

Then use Symbols Along to place the sleepers under the track. The sleepers can be made with a single polygon with some kind of wood fill.

Can you use polys and entities with Symbols Along (Escarpment)? I thought you needed to use symbols.

You do, but creating a symbol one you drawn the sleeper is trivial. You don't even need to put it in a symbol catalog, symbols along can just reference your current map as a symbol catalog.
