Sheets order

Hi. I've read on the pdf manual that entities you put on a sheet will be displayed above the entities that are placed on lower layers. Here I have a pic of a landmass I've drawn and some "default sea" (in the pic you can't see it because is merged with the sea portion of the default template of overland which I haven't covered with landscape). Why the sea, altough I've moved it to the last bottom sheet appears to be above grid and background land? If I hide the sheet the map appears as I would, but it's supposed to be the same without hiding it as the sea sheet is the last one. Am I doing something wrong?

Sheets are listed in drawing order. This means that entities on the sheets at the bottom of the list are drawn last, and therefore, will appear on top of everything else.

Your sea sheet will have to be moved up the list so it gets drawn before land sheet. Above Contours (sea) would be where I put it.

Oh, thanks. I tought sheets work like Gimp layers, with the bottom ones covered by upper layers. Here, If I've understood correctly, things work the opposite. Lower tiers objects cover the entities put on upper sheets.

The first in the list gets drawn first, then the second in the list gets drawn, until it runs out of sheets.

Yes, ravencroma, the drawing order here is different from Gimp, PS, Illustrator, etc., which are lowest layers first. Here they are topmost layers first.

And, that is also the same for sheet effects.
