  Trees and grass can be drawn using the drawing tools. Hit the "All City Drawing Tools" Button near the top-left (Looks like a crossed hammer and pencil). Here you find tools for drawing a lot of city features.
  
  If you look in the vector catalogs, you will also find some tree symbols there
